EXHIBITION_Face_It

The installation invites visitors to examine self-discipline and self-restraint effected by techniques of surveillance, at the same time highlighting the general social unawareness of constant observation. With the help of iPads connected via the Facetime-App, the two-part space of the gallery is transformed into a zone of observation: a location that is defined by a mirror effect. The work aims to create an awareness for the use of current technologies of the self that are related to different forms of surveillance.
